Nominations were announced on the hour long British TV special, The Brits Are Coming. Among the leading contenders are Adele, Ed Sheehan, Dave, and Little Simz. The awards ceremony will be held on February 8,2022 at the O2 Arena in London, England.
Artist of the Year was filled by Adele, and Little Simz among others, while International Artist went to Billie Eillish, Dona Cat, Olivia Rodrigo, and Taylor Swift.
According to Billboard, Eillish and Swift have won Brit Awards prior to the upcoming ceremony.
ABBA is making waves as well, having received their first Grammy nomination, along with a Brit nod for International Group. They were first nominated in 1977 for International Album with Arrival.
