Another club in London is making waves for its star-studded programs set for the last quarter of the year. Going ahead full steam, brand new Central London venue HERE at Outernet has announced its full opening season with new weekly event series.
Kicking off in October to get the fans ready for a season of pumpkin spice and sweater weather, Outernet are turning up the heat with big names and emerging artists alike with special shows from talents like Annie mac and Ell Murphy. These shows will mark the first run of the season programs that continue to cater to all the electronic music fans with live performances running every Friday and Saturday night.

HERE at Outernet officially opened its doors this month with Annie Mac’s Before Midnight Club night at the grand venue, featuring 25,000 square foot space located on Charing Cross Road. Through October to December, fans can expect to see artists like Daniel Avery, Floating Points, Kerri Chandler, Amaliah, Joe Kay, Meduza and more grace the venue to display their production prowess and to light up the dance floor.
Since its introduction, Outernet has been branded as the “first venue to be purpose built in Central London since the 1940s”. Standing tall with four storeys underneath the Now Building in Soho, the space is dedicated to focus on “a diverse range of electronic music, with club and live shows reflecting the makeup of London’s diverse and exciting musical heritage”. According to the team behind the stellar programming, “it will also be a space to host the best of worldwide touring talent with all its contemporary and eclectic musical strands.”

Mirroring somewhat of Tin Pan Alley in New York City, Denmark Street prides itself as a heritage location that has been a center for music since the 16th century in London. It was best known for the broadsides, which people would describe as the printing of sheet ballads. In the 19th century, the music scene grew into a bustling hub as recording studios, production companies, record labels and live venues sprouted massively across the area. Iconic legends like Elton John, David Bowie, The Rolling Stones, Jimi Hendrix, Steve Wonder, Paul Simon, Bob Marley and more recorded and made their presence in this music hub throughout their years of fame.
Anyone who has visited HERE at Outernet will agree that the promising venue holds so much potential to become a world class venue with the power to promote emerging artists, live acts, and showcase a broad range of custom designed blank canvases to host cultural events. The epitome of the future of live entertainment, Outernet is set to bring music back to London’s iconic streets and spotlight a new era for the city’s music scene.
