Lana Del Rey yet again displays her distinct vocals and incredible talent in songwriting through the melancholic soundtrack, ‘Watercolor Eyes’. The song, which was previously teased in the preview for the drama, sees the singer embody all the raw emotions of heartbreak in a “slow burn guitar track”.
“Young love don’t always last forever, wild horse can’t keep us together” shares Lana Del Rey in the deeply emotional song. “Your love stings like blood and a lemon”. With Lana Del Rey joining the ‘Euphoria’ world with the first single release, it is also her latest drop after her eighth studio album ‘Blue Banisters’ last October.
The teen drama series is poised to be one of the hottest shows released in the New Year and available to stream on HBO Max. With the show being everything that makes it binge-worthy – from the moving relatable plotlines, to trending topics like villainy, troubled characters, supremacy, love and heartbreak, Lana Del Rey’s collaboration on the soundtrack could not be a better fit. The right mix of blues, intricacy and tugging at your heartstrings is just what viewers are craving for and we cannot wait to hear the rest of the upcoming soundtrack features in this new favourite drama.
